Ah Monday, we meet again! After a lovely and relaxing weekend with the sun shining, I'm refreshed and ready for another crazy week!

If I had to pick one item of clothing that I couldn't live without this season it would be my leather jacket. This jacket was a fluke of a purchase really; I bought it from eBay several years ago from a shop in the UK for only about $170 - bargain! Anyway, I find it so useful and can throw it on casually with a t-shirt or glam it up with something sparkly for evening.

House tour {a cosy french apartment}

How lovely is this cosy apartment? The owners, artists Myriam and Dominique, wanted to escape the hectic Parisian lifestyle and sought a change of pace, so they moved to this beautiful apartment located in Nimes, in the South of France. 


I adore the bright colours used and different textures, creating an eclectic feel that is incredibly inviting. In stark contrast to the rest of the apartment, the bedroom is left white and decorated in muted tones, creating a perfect sanctuary.

I hope you had a wonderful weekend; mine was spent celebrating M's birthday which was lots of fun!

Model turned movie star Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has perfected her street-style down to a fine art.  I love how she uses seemingly basic elements to create a super-chic look; and her fedora hat collection? Simply divine!

Wednesday Workspace {cozy corner}

How wonderfully cozy does this workspace look? So perfect for the wintry weather we are having this week! 

The workspace belongs to Emma Reddington who pens the Marion House Book. Emma's blog is only a recent discovery of mine, but I was quick to fall in love with her fabulous sense of style.

I love the simplicity of the inspiration wall, created using only wooden pegs and string; and the idea to use a branch as a decorative element is very effective, adding interest to the room.

Colour Splash {Adore Home}

The latest issue of Adore Magazine is definitely a treat with lots of lovely colour inspiration - the perfect thing to brighten up a Monday! 

I swooned over Anna Spiro's fabulously bright Brisbane studio...

And I loved all of the details in Cristina Re's beautifully designed home...

But my favourite had to be the home of Lucy Fenton, owner of Melbourne's Fenton & Fenton. Lucy used lots of colour to create her classic bohemian style home which she has mixed cleverly with vintage pieces like the incredible buffet featuring in her living room. So lovely, don't you think?

Happy weekend my dears! So looking forward to relaxing and taking it easy this weekend, it has been a very long and stressful week. Top on my list for de-stressing this weekend will be indulging in a mani and pedi and watching back to back episodes of the Kardashian's - I love that show! I'm also going to see my little nieces tonight so that is always fun.

Love her style {9 to 5 Chic}

I recently discovered the style blog 9 to 5 Chic which has quickly grown into one of my daily reads. The main reason I love this blog so much is because, unlike most style blogs (which don't get me wrong I still adore), everything in Anh's blog is completely wearable. 


For me, working in an office every day means needing constant inspiration for work appropriate outfits. Anh always delivers a clever mix of outfits that incorporate both designer brands and street labels; meaning her style is not only accessible, but affordable too.

June Style

Welcome to June my dears! June is the start of Winter in Sydney and the weather didn't fail to disappoint today with gloomy grey skies bearing down. On the bright side, it's only a few short months away until Spring! To all of my lovely blog friends enjoying Summer right now, I can't help but be slightly envious of your glorious weather ;)


Here's what's rocking my world this month...

{one} The July issue of Vogue is out on newsstands today with the very glamorous Gisele Bündchen on the cover. I only just discovered that Vogue have launched their own Tumblr which I have already found myself re-blogging!


{two} Regular readers of LBoL will know my love of sweet smelling candles so it was impossible not to fall head over heels for the exciting collaboration between Jo Malone and David Hicks who have created a special limited edition range. And to boot the packaging is so lovely! 


{three} Lady Gaga's second album has been playing on my iPod non stop since it was released last week. Brilliant album. Gaga is genius.


{four} Remember this recent Get the Look post? Well not surprisingly Zara sold out of the fab polka dot scarf that Olivia wore, but I did scout this similar scarf from Saba, which is currently on sale! 


{five} News in my inbox today revealed that the eagerly anticipated launch of Donna Hay's range for Royal Doulton is not far away - the sneak peek looks amazing, so watch this space!


{six} High on my Winter must haves list is a fabulous coat - I love this camilla and marc silo trench. Not only is it incredibly stylish, it is also 100% wool so will be very warm! Oh and PS for Sydney-siders the camilla and marc warehouse sale starts this Friday from 10am {289 Young Street, Waterloo}!
