I was instantly drawn to the cover of the January issue of Inside Out Magazine; the endless summer theme definitely resonated with me while the countdown until summer holidays is on.
Let's take a peek inside...
Florist Nikki Tibbles' modern electic home in London, brilliantly shows off her striking artwork collection which create incredible focal points throughout her home. How fab is the wallpaper?
In Full Bloom, a beautifully styled editorial which explores vibrant colours and how they can work together to create clever and bold statement rooms.
DIY Weekend Projects, a new territory for Inside Out, is a collection of 8 crafty project for creating unique pieces for your home. I love the fabric covered notebook idea!
My favourite feature was the home of former stylist Sania Pell. I related to her approach of her home being an 'evolving scrapbook of memories'. Sania doesn't throw anything out and rather reuses and repurposes what she already has. Case point being her sofa which she had re-upholstered and her lovely handcrafted creations.
Admittedly I stopped buying Inside Out for a while as I kept getting disappointed by the lack of real homes and people and beautifully styled features, but I am happy to report that this issue is filled with both and I thoroughly enjoyed every page.
It almost feels they have picked up where Notebook left off as there seems to be bigger focus on craft and real people. If this is a taste of things to come for Inside Out I will definitely be back next month.
The verdict? This glossy issue is a must read!
