Apartment 3304 {the kitchen}



Hello lovelies, thank you for your well wishes yesterday, I'm feeling so much better today! 
I thought I would share with you a few inspirations for the kitchen (the first room to tackle) in the apartment that I'm helping to decorate.

The prerequisites are:
* White timber cabinets (hardware colour still tbc)
* Carrera marble counter tops
* Carrera marble splashback
* Chandelier style lighting 
* An island bench (the apartment is open plan with the kitchen extending to the living area), able to accommodate bar stools

* A standalone stove and oven
* Polished floorboards

These are a couple of lighting styles that I have found at Matt Blatt, but I don't think they're quite right, so still on the hunt. Any suggestions are welcome!





Everything is still very much a work in progress, but wanted to share these inspiration so far.

    Your inpsirations are pretty much exactly what I am using for my new kitchen- love love. As for lighting, my advice is to search vintage. I couldn't find anything quite right either and then finally happened upon a pair of beautiful vintage chandys at an antique store and they're perfect. I do really like that first one you showed though:) Can't wait to see what gorgeous you find!!

    I love the white kitchens with a pop of color! The lucite stools in the first photo are a nice touch. I also love the fresh flowers in all of the photos!

    With those requirements that is sure to be an amazing kitchen! I hope you can share a peak here or there with us of the progress. I really love Jen Ramos' kitchen ... gorgeous. That kitchen by Caitlin Wilson is beautiful also!

    I love all of your inspiration photos. You can't go wrong with white timber cabinets, carrera marble and chandelier lighting. It is going to be gorgeous.
