The newly revamped Lonny headquarters featuring in the latest issue couldn't be more divine - they definitely strike the right balance between being functional and chic, don't you agree?
There are too many lovely things about these spaces to count but some of my favorite elements include;
* Open brick walls painted white
* The mix of high end furnishings with IKEA
* The decorative lampshades and impressive bases
* The beautiful fabrics used for the curtains and revamping chairs
* The striped walls (!)
* the gorgeous artworks
What do you love most about the fabulous new Lonny offices'?

ReplyDeleteWouldn't you just love to work in an office this stylish?! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteI so agree -- functional and chic!
ReplyDeleteLove...! all of them :))
ReplyDeleteIt's totally gorgeous! But honestly? At the risk of sounding like a downer, I'm not sure how functional it really is. Sure, it's been styled for the photos, but there is WAY too much decorative stuff hanging around on every surface to be totally functional for me. Functional spaces in my mind need lots of open surfaces to work on. Filing cabinets and notebooks and bulletin/inspiration boards and such. These photos look like gorgeous home offices more than an office-office where real work happens. The work spaces I get most inspired by show me how real people make real offices lovely - warts and all like faxes and printers and filing cabinets and white boards. So maybe it's more a question of the styling for the photos - if they had allowed it to look like people actually have real meetings at that table in photo2! That all said - love love what they've done in terms of lovely-factor. And love Lonny.
ReplyDeleteSusan, I definitely think you have a point about it being styled with items on surfaces and not enough space to work, but I can still see how it has been designed with function in mind i.e large desks, comfortable chairs, meeting areas. I can also see how for the not so pretty items they could also be discreetly hidden too!
ReplyDeleteWould be so nice to work in an office like this! Great way to decorate a normally boring space!
ReplyDeleteMagnificent style! I am planning to have my home office just as that in the pictures and now I have some great ideas! Here’s a great article with a humorous interpretation of several Ikea office furniture items. http://tinyurl.com/44cm2s6
