Thoughts for a new week :: Explore. Dream. Discover.
This is one of my favourite quotes of all time + reading it again recently made me think twice about how easy it is to push your dreams to the side and get caught up with the everyday.
Don't let time pass you by: write that book you have mapped out in your head; start that business you've been dreaming about; take that overseas trip you keep putting off.
Don't wait for the right moment - it will never arrive. Take a leap of faith.
Hope your week is off to a fabulous start my dears,
Rachel xo

There is one phrase you used that simply stirs something in me every time I hear it: take a leap of faith. It says so much. Beautiful post, Rachel! That photo of Marion is gorgeous!

I wrote something similar last Saturday. I think it's very important to live here and now instead of waiting for things to come... x
ReplyDeleteI love love lovee this reminder! I always think (hindsight kicks our butts sometimes doesn't it?) about the things that I've now begun, and wish I had simply started them sooner! But the older I get the more courageous I get in terms of just going for it. I think that when I was younger, I was inhibited mostly but worrying about what other people thought of me, what other people would think about the moves I was making. As I've gotten older, I've realized, of course, that pleasing others is silliness, and it's freed me up to just go forth with what feels right to me. Thanks for sharing this great quote!
ReplyDeleteThis is so very true Rachel! At 23 I have started my own business here in Barbados and travelled to over 30 cities. I plan to continue on this path as life is too short not to follow your dreams and live life how you want to!
ReplyDeleteI love this so much Rachel! This saying is so true and should be a reminder to put actions to our dreams. Thanks for the Monday encouragement!
ReplyDeleteXoxo
I love this so much. It's so inspirational.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday!
such a great quote. I'm the kind of person who always thinks 3 or 4 times before actually doing anything and I end up not doing a lot of things. Sometimes I wonder if I'm really going to look back in regret, and though I hope not, I've been taking a bit more chances, trying to actually do what I feel like..
