CDFA Awards :: Moments in style

I've long been a fan of photographer Jamie Beck's work; her style of photography always captures those unexpected, yet extraordinarily raw moments that literally take your breathe away. So when I saw these recent shots from the CDFA Awards, I couldn't help but be inspired...

    Omg!!! Too funny!!! I have recently been spending time pouringgg over Jamie's site in just complete awe and admiration. Her photographs are simply stunning. Your timing could not have been more uncanny!

    I know it sounds like a cliché but I cannot get the moment out of my head when Seth Meyers walked on that stage in the lace dress that Marc Jacobs wore at the Mets. It's still cracking me up, haha.

    Well, I have to add that I felt proud of being part of the blogging community when Garance Doré and Scott Schuman were up on that stage accepting their award. I think that part stood out for me.

    I'm off to take a better look at JB's photos.

    Photography is painting with light! It's been said that photography is the one art where you don't need to go to school, nothing separates the pro from the amateur other skill a keen eye or the right moment.
