For the first 15 days I will be travelling to Spain, Portugal + Morocco: starting in Madrid and making my way across to Portugal and then down the coast of Portugal and into Morocco. From what I can gather, it will still be quite warm in all of these countries, yet in Morocco I need to make sure I have appropriate clothing to respect the cultural differences.
1. Supergra sneakers // 2. Repetto ballet flats // 3. J.Crew Western Denim shirt // 4. J.Crew boat neck t // 5. Scarfs: 1, 2 + 3 // 6. J.Crew tank //7. Victoria Beckham super skinny jeans // 8. Bassike jersey slouch pants.
I will be taking a lot of basics that I plan on mixing up with scarves and accessories. I'd love to be taking more, but the reality is that I need to be travelling as light as possible, which is easier said than done!
Have you been to any of these countries? Are there any essentials that I am missing?
Stay tuned for part two,
Rachel xo
Oh! I wish your vacation was a bit earlier and I would have been able to show you around Portugal, but by that time I'll already be in the UK! Anyway, feel free to ask for help planning your days in Portugal or any advice! I would love to help!

ReplyDeleteOh wow! That trip sounds fabulous! It is my dream to go to Morocco...I am trying to make it happen next year!
ReplyDeleteI have not been to any of the countries...they are all on my wish list...but I love those scarves on your packing list! :)
ReplyDeleteYou will have such an amazing time!!
ReplyDeleteLove all your choices! I have a couple of pairs of Repettos. They go with everything! xo
ReplyDeleteYou and I have SUCH similar tastes, it never ceases to delight me. I love what you're packing, and would happily have those items magically appear in my own packed bag, regardless of the location.
ReplyDeleteYour trip sounds dreamy, and looks like you're all set for packing! I always pack scarves too, they really add to each look.

ReplyDeleteSo jealous of your travels! Looks like you have some perfect pieces packed -- can't wait to hear about your trip!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a perfect packing 'list' - lots of mixable, light basics. It'll be easy to add in any purchases you make on the way! And trust me, travelling light and repeating outfits is so much more worth it than trying to lug around over-sized suitcases :)

Love your basics picks for your trip Rachel... don't forget the sunscreen and a hat or two! Your basics look like a perfect school drop off wardrobe for me too, LOL! The scarves will carry you in and out of everywhere - easy to drape around your neck, or shoulders if you're bare when you're travelling in cultural sensitive areas in Morocco! Enjoy :)x
ReplyDeleteThis sounds fun!
ReplyDeleteI think you are right about the basics. I'd add a long skirt if you have one and make sure that one of the scarves is more like a pashmina. It's so convenient to have something that is almost like a blanket, just in case it cools down.
I have never been to these countries. Well, I have been to the Canary Islands that are part of Spain but I've never been on the mainland.
See you in Paris ;-)
Looks like the wardrobe is coming together really well, hun. Love the polka dot scarf! :) xx
ReplyDeleteSo exciting Rachel! Definitely pack light and leave lots of room for shopping :)
