Happy Wednesday lovelies! Well, Christmas has arrived early around here and I am thrilled to be giving a lucky reader the chance to win two pieces from Leah Alexandra's jewellery collection.
I discovered Leah's work only recently {you may remember I featured it here} and ever since I have been crushing over her beautiful and incredibly stylish pieces.
Leah spent many summers on the sandy shores of Cape Cod and recounts how her life drawn to water provided her with the inspriation for the collection. What I love most about Leah's pieces is how incredibly versatile they are - I could imagine wearing them out on the town with a glamorous evening dress, yet I could just as easily imagine wearing them with jeans and a t-shirt; genius don't you think?

ReplyDeleteHow I would wear them, you ask ... to name something I have a light grey shirt with 3/4 sleeves which I believe the bracelet would go really well with. The necklace would go well with all my black items. Then I think I would simply allow myself to buy something new if I won ;-)

I'd twist these pieces with CELEBRATION Storm gray silk with black onyx necklace and the CAROUSEL Black silk wrap bracelet with sterling silver and zircon stones - lots of subtle colours stacked together!

I'd have to say for the necklace I'd love to wear it with a pretty but plain Summer dress, probably a white cotton Grecian-style, as a nice blank canvas to show off this gorgeous piece... And the dark tones of the bracelet would look lovely with a fawn cashmere cardigan in the colder months! :)
