I discovered this stunning renovation via The Style Files and was immediately smitten by how the architects transformed this 1904 farmhouse into a modern and stylish home, yet cleverly retained the original cottage feel.
Elements I adore:
- Painted white floorboards
- Black and white, mixed with neutral shades
- French doors opening on to an outdoor entertaining area, allowing lots of light into the living and dining area
- Chandelier-style light fitting in the dining room
- Kitchen cupboards (!)
- Blackboard in the kitchen
- Hand basin faucet in the bathroom
- Vintage bedside table
- Wrought-iron bed frames
Check out the rest of the amazing transformation {see the full project}.
