Colour Splash {Adore Home}

The latest issue of Adore Magazine is definitely a treat with lots of lovely colour inspiration - the perfect thing to brighten up a Monday! 

I swooned over Anna Spiro's fabulously bright Brisbane studio...

And I loved all of the details in Cristina Re's beautifully designed home...

But my favourite had to be the home of Lucy Fenton, owner of Melbourne's Fenton & Fenton. Lucy used lots of colour to create her classic bohemian style home which she has mixed cleverly with vintage pieces like the incredible buffet featuring in her living room. So lovely, don't you think?

Lonny Love {Colour Splash}

Lonny has put together a most fabulous issue to launch 2011, full of fresh and inspiring homes for us to get giddy over!


I was particularly enamored by the colourful 60's inspired home of Angel Dormer. With all of her amazing artworks displayed and cool accessories that make bold statements; like the zebra-print rug and yellow oversized lamp; I couldn't help but fall in love...

P.S Queensland is currently experiencing possibly the worst flooding Australia has ever had. There are many families who are in desperate need of help and who have lost everything. Colour Splash {Orange}

I'm feeling a bit adventurous today, hence the post on orange!

Orange isn't normally a colour I would go for, but I have been seeing so much orange around lately especially coming up to Halloween and I couldn't resist sharing these lovely rooms. My favourite is the first image; the rust orange matched with these vintage style chairs is simply exquisite.

I haven't been game enough to experiment with orange in my own home, but would be interested to know if you have.
