I am in love with the vibrant colour palette used to revamp this charming late-1800's stone house in Stockholm and how colour has been used to provide a focal point for each room.
The house has been cleverly renovated and styled by Camilla and Peter Stern who have boldly used colour as a means of expressing their personal style to create fabulously unique rooms.
The best bit for me is the kitchen - I love the black and white theme, the white tiled walls and the white cupboards with wooden benchtops.
But the master bedroom is also very lovely, with the gorgeous striped bed head and the colour of the walls...
Which is your favourite room?
Hope you are having a wonderful week xx

Long Island Renovation {By the Sea}
Happy Weekend lovelies! This week was crazy at work which meant I had hardly any time to post, so hopefully this weekend I can make up for it...
I'm excited to share with you this fabulous transformation that was done on a late 18th Century house in Long Island.
No detail was overlooked in the renovation. The designer aimed to keep the character and charm of the house, where original features including the wide planked floors were beautifully restored.
I love the colour palette of turquoise and white with splashes of colour which simply add to the delicious feeling of being by the sea.
Any exciting plans this weekend lovelies?

Interiors Inspiration {Stylist Lucyina Moodie}

I fell in love with stylist Lucyina Moodie's portfolio the minute I saw the first shot. Her style is a clever mix of country and modern chic, which I adore. The intricate level of detail, colour and texture she used in her work is breathtaking.
Lucyina's career as a stylist spans television, magazines and advertising, having working on a range of clients; she is now working as an interior designer in London.

Monday {Moody Blues}
Happy Monday lovelies!
How was your weekend? Husband and I spent a lot of ours gawking at how insane the Sydney property prices are, its complete craziness!
Who had your favourite look at the Oscars? I adored Nicole Ritchie, she looked completely fabulous. How fun is her look here with the balloons? I have a bit of a style crush on her right now...

{Shades of Grey}
What inspired me today? Shades of grey.
It started with the Elle UK 's April cover featuring Chloe Sevigny. I then fell in love with this beautiful bedroom via Emma's Blog, and it seemed to flow from there.... Proof that grey is never a boring choice.
What inspired you today?
I was also reminded that despite the {grey} dreary weather outside, just in time for the weekend, life is still pretty amazing.
Have a lovely weekend!

{Interiors Inspiration} A Stylish Sanctuary
When I discovered the home of Erin McLaughlin, editor of Style At Home, I immediately fell in love with the impeccable style of her transformed Victorian cottage.
Adding this cute couch in the dining area really adds interest to the space. Love the low-hanging light fitting and the picture frames hung on the wall!
Such a fabulous cottage, don't you think?

I adore the combination of soft muted greys mixed with this striking shade of blue.

Closet Perfection
One of the things I daydream about frequently and is #1 on my interiors wish list is having a most fabulous and extremely well organised closet.
I would love for all of my bags, shoes, belts and scarves to be where I can see them when planning my outfits and I can access them easily without having to stand on chairs or fosic around for them.
Also on this mental wish list is for my clothes to be hanging in the one area so I can see them properly and they are not all squished in together in one big mess.
I almost died and went to closet-heaven when I came stumbled across these....

{Colour Me Purple}
The previous tenants in our old apartment gamely painted one of the walls in the living area a bright shade of magenta. At first I thought it looked odd, but it grew on me and I made it work with our furniture. I ended up putting a white Ikea Expedit bookcase in front of it which created a striking effect.
A purple feature creates drama and can be very stylish - it certainly adds a lot of interest!
Have you ever considered adding a purple feature to your interiors?

A {Berry} Lovely Weekend
Husband and I spent a wonderful weekend visiting the southern coast of NSW. Our last stop was Berry - the cutest country town filled with gorgeous boutiques, gift shops, homewares shops, eateries and old-fashioned pubs.
All of the buildings are country-style and have managed to retain their original charm. I took a few snaps, here are my favourites:
If you are ever on a road trip in NSW, I strongly urge you to visit Berry, you won't be disappointed!
Oh and hello to all my new visitors :) Hope you are having a fabulous week.

Cosy Living Rooms {Hello Autumn}
Hello lovelies! The first day of autumn did not disapoint Sydney-siders today. The weather was dreary, grey and wet. It was the first day I have worn my trench in about 6 months!
I actually don't mind the cold and love rugging up and keeping cosy. These living rooms would be perfect to snuggle up in with a good book, glass of wine and some good company, don't you think?
Hello autumn. Welcome.
