For the love of white

As much as I love colour, I really adore nothing more than pure white interiors. This home caught my eye; with it's shabby chic style, mixed with a dash of country decor and a dose of French thrown in for good measure. It was hard not to fall in love.

The loveliest thing about this home? The delightful caravan parked out the back...Pure magic!

Have a wonderful Thursday lovelies.

Small, but Perfectly Stylish

Small spaces decorated to create an illusion of being larger than their actual size have always fascinated me, so unsurprisingly, I was captivated when I discovered this 93 sq metre chic home, which has not only been styled to perfection, but also deceptively disguises how small the space actually is...

The lovely list:
* The heavenly colour scheme; muted espresso, with shades of pink and splashes of green and red
* Vintage details like the ornate chandeliers, fridge, louis-style chairs and picture frames
* The luxe dressing room, complete with a vintage rolling rack
* Quilted bed head - I just adore the colour!
* The basement turned wine cellar, with open wine racks.

So much to fall in love with!

Do tell me, what's on your lovely list for this stylish abode?

Interiors Inspiration {Shabby-Chic}

Welcome to the weekend lovelies! I have a beautiful home to share with you today which I discovered from a blog I stumbled across from Portugal!

I was instantly drawn to this shabby-chic home; the high ceilings, white floorboards and chandeliers are exquisite.

My favourite room? The kitchen. I cannot go past the colour scheme, the cupboards, the fabulous light-fitting and the wrought iron bar stools - swoon!

What about you, what is your favourite part of this home?

Long Island Farmhouse

Hello lovelies; how has your week been so far? I have been frantically busy at work, but the weekend is in sight now, thank goodness!

Today I want to share with you a delightful farmhouse which has been transformed by Tom Scheerer, an interior designer from Manhattan.

I love all the colour and warmth in the home, it feels so cozy.
My favourite is the outdoor area with all of those comfy-looking couches - I could definitely spend an afternoon here curling up with a good book!

A Dash of Country

Welcome to the weekend lovelies! What do you have planned? We are having some friends over tonight so I will be busy cooking this afternoon in preparation, including baking some delicious cupcakes!

It doesn't feel like Autumn one bit in Sydney, our days have been beautiful and sunny with no sign of Autumn arriving any time soon. I am strangely enough, longing for some cooler weather and looking forward to cozy-ing up and staying inside. Which is probably why I am being drawn to country-inspired interiors right now as they always give me such a sense of feeling warm and cozy.

Enjoy your weekend xx

Interiors Inspiration {Stylist Lucyina Moodie}

I fell in love with stylist Lucyina Moodie's portfolio the minute I saw the first shot. Her style is a clever mix of country and modern chic, which I adore. The intricate level of detail, colour and texture she used in her work is breathtaking.

Lucyina's career as a stylist spans television, magazines and advertising, having working on a range of clients; she is now working as an interior designer in London.

Lovely Country Interiors

I managed to convince husband to see Did You Hear About the Morgans? with me last night. I was never expecting it to be a film classic, but it was a great chick flick and perfect for the holidays!

There were plenty of splendid country scenes as the movie was set in the US state of Wyoming, which got me dreaming of how gorgeous country interiors can be. I'm definitely a city girl, but would love a house in the country to escape to...
