A Dash of Country
Welcome to the weekend lovelies! What do you have planned? We are having some friends over tonight so I will be busy cooking this afternoon in preparation, including baking some delicious cupcakes!
It doesn't feel like Autumn one bit in Sydney, our days have been beautiful and sunny with no sign of Autumn arriving any time soon. I am strangely enough, longing for some cooler weather and looking forward to cozy-ing up and staying inside. Which is probably why I am being drawn to country-inspired interiors right now as they always give me such a sense of feeling warm and cozy.
Enjoy your weekend xx

Escape to Wonderland
Love everything about this whimsical shoot.
Photographer Shawn McDonnell has done a brilliant job of creating this fantasy world through his interpretation of Alice in Wonderland.
Beautifully styled and the white rabbits are just so cool!

Parisian Style
Welcome to a brand new week lovelies! I don't know about you but I am counting down until the long weekend coming up for Easter - 4 days off in a row will be fabulous.
I made a wonderful blog discovery today and am excited to share with you the beautiful Spanish blog Dream Homes.
This gorgeous French home featured really stood out; I adore the contrast of the white against the beige walls and the carefully selected bold features used to fill the room, adding to the uniqueness and character of the space.
You can tell that the apartment is an older style which has been beautifully renovated - the French glass doors and the architraves in the ceiling are a giveaway!
Simply stunning.

Interiors Inspiration {Blue & White}
I'm not a massive fan of blue and white as a colour scheme, but after seeing these gorgeous interiors, my perception is changing; I think I could go for blue and white palette in the bedroom or bathroom; especially after seeing the last bedroom and bathroom - they are divine!
Any plans for the weekend lovelies? I'm going wedding dress shopping for my sister which will be loads of fun!

Living Room Perfection
Yesterday Made By Girl featured the beautiful home of 3 Men & a Lady on her blog and I almost fell over when I saw it - this is exactly how I dream my perfect living room would look!
First up, I love this colour scheme. The walls painted beige with the white ceiling and having the colour palette continue throughout the room looks nothing short of amazing!
Also, the floors are beautiful - the dark wood adds the perfect contrast to the rest of the neutral colour palette.
Other elements I love:
- Black and white photo frames on mounted shelves
- Huge wall clock as a feature above the fireplace
- The chandalier above the dining setting
- Combined living and dining
What do you think lovelies? Would your dream living room look anything like this?

Passion for Colour
I am in love with the vibrant colour palette used to revamp this charming late-1800's stone house in Stockholm and how colour has been used to provide a focal point for each room.
The house has been cleverly renovated and styled by Camilla and Peter Stern who have boldly used colour as a means of expressing their personal style to create fabulously unique rooms.
The best bit for me is the kitchen - I love the black and white theme, the white tiled walls and the white cupboards with wooden benchtops.
But the master bedroom is also very lovely, with the gorgeous striped bed head and the colour of the walls...
Which is your favourite room?
Hope you are having a wonderful week xx

Long Island Renovation {By the Sea}
Happy Weekend lovelies! This week was crazy at work which meant I had hardly any time to post, so hopefully this weekend I can make up for it...
I'm excited to share with you this fabulous transformation that was done on a late 18th Century house in Long Island.
No detail was overlooked in the renovation. The designer aimed to keep the character and charm of the house, where original features including the wide planked floors were beautifully restored.
I love the colour palette of turquoise and white with splashes of colour which simply add to the delicious feeling of being by the sea.
Any exciting plans this weekend lovelies?

Interiors Inspiration {Stylist Lucyina Moodie}
I fell in love with stylist Lucyina Moodie's portfolio the minute I saw the first shot. Her style is a clever mix of country and modern chic, which I adore. The intricate level of detail, colour and texture she used in her work is breathtaking.
Lucyina's career as a stylist spans television, magazines and advertising, having working on a range of clients; she is now working as an interior designer in London.

Monday {Moody Blues}
Happy Monday lovelies!
How was your weekend? Husband and I spent a lot of ours gawking at how insane the Sydney property prices are, its complete craziness!
Who had your favourite look at the Oscars? I adored Nicole Ritchie, she looked completely fabulous. How fun is her look here with the balloons? I have a bit of a style crush on her right now...
