Project Well Done

When I received the email from fellow bloggers Keely from Luxe & Lillies and Lauren from Aspiring Kennedy about launching initiative Project Well Done, asking bloggers from around the globe to help spread the word and help raise much needed funds for Travis' Charity Water campaign, I felt compelled to do anything that I could to help and create an impact to support this vital cause.

So what is it all about?
Charity Water is a non-for-profit organisation bringing much needed clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations.

The goal?
The statistics are staggering. Almost one billion people on the planet don’t have access to clean drinking water. Charity Water aims to change this by building fresh drinking water wells accessible in villages and teaching people about the importance of sanitisation. It's amazing that by educating people about simple practices like hand-washing, this can reduce the spread of deadly disease.

Want to help?
Charity Water relies 100% on donations and even donating as little as $5 to this wonderful cause will go a long way. Did you know that just $20 can give one person clean water for 20 years? Incredible.

Seeing the work of Charity Water really brings home just how lucky we are to live in a country where we freely have access to basic necessities like clean water.

Launching this intiative and helping to spread the word about Project Well Done we aim to raise $1000 to enable Travis reach his goal of $5,000. By making a small donation of $5 (tax deductible) the blogging community can really make a difference!

Just grab the button in my sidebar and post to your readers about this cause.

Or, if you want to make a donation directly to Travis' Charity Water campaign click here.

Thank you for your support,
